Anita’s Room Showcase
In February 2026, PLUCK spent a 5-day residency in Anita’s Room at the Brighton Dome to develop more mini-shows for paediatric patients.
On the final day PLUCK shared their work in progress, including two newly developed shows as well as one of their current shows, in a showcase to an invited audience of children, their families and local artists and theatre-makers.
Below you can watch the full showcase or the individual mini-shows.
After watching the videos, if you have any feedback, you can fill out our feedback form. We’d love to hear your thoughts! Thank you!
What People Are Saying
“Love the small theatre on the trolley - so clever. Stories felt perfect for people to take what they need - zone in and out as energy allows.”
“The combination of the harp with the shadow puppetry works really well. The harp has a calming effect which I can imagine is perfect for a hospital environment.”
I wonder how you engage young people at the beginning and end to give them a soft start into the work? I can imagine this is incredibly important for different ages and different needs.
